For more than one year Palestinian refugees in Montreal and throughout Canada have been struggling against deportation and fighting for their status. On September 18th, the Coalition Against the Deportation of Palestinian Refugees and their supporters are calling for your participation in a large-scale demonstration on the streets of Montreal.

New York- Hier, dans les environs de 18h, deux militants du mouvement queer radical Les Panthères Roses ont été mis en état d’arrestation devant la Bibliothèque publique de New York. Ils ont déployé une bannière avec l’inscription : « LE PATRIARCAT DÉMEMBRÉ…Les Panthères Roses y travaillent ».

Three public interest groups have launched a campaign to focus the attention of political parties and candidates on issues involving the Internet and user rights. The Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), Digital Copyright Canada, and the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC) have asked party leaders and candidates for their views on user rights under copyright law and other technology-related issues.
