What we need to say is not 'what was the use of all the protests' but now that they are over, and we know that it was a lot of hell for a symbolic gathering, what are we going to do to continue builing alternatives to the capitalist system, and to strengthen are community initiatives and solidarity.

RUSSIA: NTV as a mouthpiece for neo-liberalism in Russia

vieuxcmaq, Lunes, Abril 23, 2001 - 11:00

Vladimir Videman (videman@web.de)

The fact that NTV is a mouthpiece for neo-liberalism is hardly arguable; it is glaringly obvious. Today, with so much press on free speech in Russia, it is fitting that we ask ourselves once again: exactly what kind of "freedom of speech" (and what kind of freedom in general--or whose freedom) does NTV stand for?

A letter to the webmaster

vieuxcmaq, Domingo, Abril 22, 2001 - 11:00

wombat ksc (hpwombat@hotmail.com)

to whom it may concern,
I am enjoying the utility that this site offers for news coverage
However I am finding it extremely hard to read because of the particular
type and size of the lettering use. If the size was altered, I would
be able to read it easier and would appreciate the utility more.
Thank you.
