Même si elle n'est pas surprise du tout, l'Union des consommateurs se dit déçue de la décision de la Régie de l'énergie d'accorder, dès le premier jour de 2004, une hausse de tarif de 3% à Hydro-Québec. En clair, c'est un quart de milliards de dollars que le gouvernement vient chercher dans les poches des ménages québécois alors qu'Hydro-Québec fait des profits de 2 milliards par année.
