MARCH 15 2002 CASE: Justice Ghanimé hauled before the Judicial Council
The Judicial Council of Quebec has now been hit with a complaint with respect to the questionable conduct of Judge Ghanimé of Montreal Municipal Court during the May 1, 2003 preparatory confenrece in the case of the March 15, 2002 megafile.

Le Conseil de la magistrature du Québec a été saisit d’une plainte contre le juge Jacques Ghanimé de la Cour municipale de Montréal relativement à sa conduite douteuse lors de la conférence préparatoire du 1er mai 2003 qu’il a présidé dans le mégadossier du 15 mars 2002.
La Sûreté du Québec condamnée pour l'orchestration de l'arrestation d'un enseignant
MONTREAL, le 2 juin - Dans une cause défendue par la CSQ, et pour la première fois au Québec, la Sûreté du Québec (SQ), ou l'un de ses policiers, est condamnée à des dommages-intérêts "pour l'orchestration de l'arrestation" d'un prévenu "avec la convocation des médias au Palais de justice pour la comparution" de ce dernier. En effet, la Cour supérieure a récemment rendu un jugement sur requête en libelle et diffamation en ce sens et a de plus condamné la SQ pour s'être permis de donner une opinion sur la qualité de la preuve au stade d'une comparution.

Emprisonnement d'une militante de l'UFP-Outaouais et d'une leader anti-guerre
Une membre de l'UFP-Outaouais, Michèle Marois, et la leader du mouvement anti-guerre de l'Outaouais et mère de Michèle, Francine Dumas, ont été emprisonnées pendant deux jours au Palais de justice (sic) d'Ottawa parce qu'avec quelques dizaines de personnes, essentiellement d'Ottawa, elles participaient à une manif de soutien à l'occupation des bureaux du Ministre Coderre par une douzaine de personnes sans-statut algériennes de Montréal. Elles ont été relâchées ce matin (samedi).
