Bush wants to send NATO to Iraq because of seeking international legacy before US election. France and Germany opposed that idea. But the summit decided to train Iraqi powers under NATO umbrella. Also they decided to send more troops to Afghanistan.

In protests people condemned that USA abuses NATO to support its imperialist policies in Afghanistan, Iraq and wider Middle East.
