Dishonest Bush and Iran President Ahmadinejad cross swords at UN

forpressfound, Miércoles, Septiembre 20, 2006 - 07:03

Only the dishonest US and Israel boycotted Iranian President Ahmadinejad's UN speech. While an Iranian VIP plane was forced to land in Istanbul: a scandalous treatment and a sure way to make more enemies and keep the resistance growing. Like in Thailand where the people with arms have taken the power.

The world can't wait - 'Drive out the Bush Regime' needs your money now!

In the United states Millions of us are deeply distressed and angered. But, people are held back by the fear they are alone and powerless.

Many hope that somehow the Democrats will do something to change this when every day it becomes more clear they will not.

From out of this huge reservoir of people, we can unleash a great wave, moving together on the same day – our numbers making a statement that can not be ignored and that lets it be known that we are determined to bring this whole disastrous direction to a halt.

On Thursday, October 5, join us in saying to the world: This regime does not represent us and we will not stop until we drive it out!

Walk out of school! Refuse to work! No shopping on Oct 5! Come to mass demonstrations across the country and march through the streets calling on millions more to join us in repudiating this criminal regime with the mobilization of massive political opposition!

Che makes a comeback in South America
Recent transformations of politics on the continent wrought by Chavez and Morales indicate a new direction inspired by the legendary revolutionary
- by Dan Adleman

In Achieving Our Country, Richard Rorty, one of America’s most interesting political philosophers, wrote, "Those who hope to persuade a nation to exert itself need to remind their country of what it can take pride in as well as what it should be ashamed of. They must tell inspiring stories about episodes and figures in the nation’s past. . . . Nations rely on artists and intellectuals to create images of, and to tell stories about, the national past. Competition for political leadership is in part a competition between differing stories about a nation’s self-identity, and between differing symbols of its greatness."

Nowadays, in South America, a great many progressives are invoking the spirit of Ernesto Che Guevera, the charismatic guerilla leader who helped wrench Cuba from Fulgencio Batista’s corrupt, kleptocratic military dictatorship...

MSNBC poll on government complicity in 9/11 - 59% say yes! PLACE YOUR VOTE!

Anonyme, Domingo, Septiembre 10, 2006 - 14:47

reposted

The question was :

Do you believe any 9/11 conspiracy theories that indicate the U.S. government was involved?

59% had responded Yes, 30% said No, and 11% Not sure - as of 3:20 Eastern time.

With more and more people from all walks of life, including government officials, CIA personel, military, teachers, scientists etc coming out and saying there is no way the government theory is true, this issue is breaking through big time!
