This is the last part (6) of the booklet From Nationalism to Internationalism. This booklet tells the story of an activist over a period of about 35 years. He has been well acquainted with Maoists having been a militant founder of the Maoist group In Struggle! (En Lutte!) This booklet is his political autobiography and his self-criticism.

¿Washington en bancarrota? Es la palabra que utilizó el vicepresidente Joe Biden en una entrevista: “Actualmente, Washington está en bancarrota” (www.cbsnews.com, 17-2-10). ¿Estados Unidos inestable políticamente? Es lo que escuchó en bocas extranjeras, por primera vez en su vida, Thomas L. Friedman, tres veces premio Pulitzer de Periodismo, cuando cubría el Foro Económico de Davos (www.nytimes.com, 31-1-10). En el marco de ese barómetro económico global de primer nivel, un empresario norteamericano declaró a Friedman que todo el mundo le preguntaba sobre “la inestabilidad política en EE.UU., nos hemos convertido en algo impredecible para el mundo”.

This is the fourth part of the booklet From Nationalism to Internationalism. We will publish it in six parts. This booklet tells the story of an activist over a period of about 35 years. His booklet is both intended as a criticism of past activities (for example, a critique of the Maoist current in which he’d long evolved) and to show that these same activities were alien to the proletariat. In fact, he is writing this booklet so that young workers and students can avoid the same mistakes and gain an understanding of the politics of the Communist Left, the real proletarian camp.

Mauvais jour, le 11 février 2010. Ce jour-là, Colin Ward est mort. Il y a deux manières de se souvenir de lui. La première consiste à penser aux 26 livres qu’il a écrit. Ou aux neuf ans (1961-1970) qu’il a passés à éditer, et souvent entièrement rédiger le meilleur périodique anarchiste anglais, de l’avis général, /Anarchy/. La seconde consiste à penser à lui, même quand on l’a très peu rencontré, comme c’est mon cas.

Depuis Copenhague, l'ineptie mondialement reconnue du gouvernement Harper en matière d'environnement fait en sorte que le gouvernement Charest est perçu comme LE grand défenseur de l'environnement. Si Jean Charest a certes démontré que les provinces n’endossent pas la politique honteuse de Stephen Harper dans la lutte aux changements climatiques, il reste qu’après 7 ans à gouverner le Québec,  son bilan environnemental, malgré certains bons coups,  est beaucoup plus sombre qu’il ne le laisse entrevoir.
