Le rapport secret contient un journal détaillé des décès, tant militaires que civils.

Stephen Grey, expert de l'Afghanistan et auteur (Operation Snakebite), a analysé les données pour Channel 4 News et a calculé le nombre de décès révélés dans ce rapport.

Les « sous-reportages » des décès civils causés par les forces de l'OTAN

En 2008, un hélicoptère d'assaut, de type AC-130 'Spectre', a lancé une offensive sur le village de Azizabad, dans la province d'Herat. La cible était un commandant Taliban. Le rapport ne faisait aucun état de décès civils. Il référait uniquement à la mort au combat de 30 insurgés.

En fait, selon un rapport de l'ONU, 90 civils furent tués, 60 étaient des enfants et 15 des femmes.

En septembre 2006, les troupes de l'Opération Medusa se sont placées dans un vaste territoire de Panjwayi, à l'ouest de Khandahar, un château-fort des Talibans.

À la suite d'un bombardement, le rapport de l'OTAN a révélé 31 civils tués, dont 20 étaient d'une seule famille étendue.

Les documents secrets rapportent plutôt 181 décès civils.

In May,2010, after a moment of freedom, this man was returned to prison to serve three months for allegedly breaking his prison release restrictions and speaking to Foreign Media.

Please read the following appeal from Nobel Laureate Mairead Maguire and use whatever contacts and influence you may have to assist Mr Vanunu. His continuing imprisonment is a human tragedy and a stain upon the government of Israel.

Critique of an article with the same title in Toronto’s Globe and Mail by Ian Buruma

This article starts with a brave question, and I think for most people the answer is apparent with the asking of the question.

But like the famous line of T.S. Elliot, the piece ends, not with a bang, but a whimper.

After asking a question which would never pass the lips of Israel’s establishment, the article makes the very claims and assertions the Israeli government would make.

En l’espace d’un mois, deux imminentes correspondantes, l’une âgée de 90 ans, à la Maison Blanche et l’autre plus jeune travaillant à CNN, ont été poussées à démissionner pour avoir transgressé la ligne rouge : déplaire au lobby israélien. Qu’à cela ne tienne, fuckoff CNN, BBC et tutti quanti, nous regarderons la chaine du Hisboallah, el Manar, à défaut d’avoir d’autres télé plus « modérés » qui nous conviennent !
