On the 15th of May 2004, with the support of the County of Archidona, the Coalition Against Oil Exploitation invited communities and organizations from the area to participate in an assembly. The purpose of the assembly was to present the opportunity to discuss and declare the County of Archidona an ecologically-protected area.

 
Approximately 2,000 people attended an anti-petroleum assembly in the town of Tena, Ecuador on March 20, 2004. The day marked a new step in the fight against oil exploitation. Participants arrived from the provinces of Napo, Pastaza and Orellana in order to protest oil exploitation in the newly-opened Amazonian oil blocks 20 and 29.

Bearden, LTC, U.S. Army (Retired) CEO, CTEC Inc., the Director of the Association of Distinguished American Scientists (ADAS) and a Fellow Emeritus of the Alpha Foundation's Institute for Advanced Study (AIAS), explained the energetic quintessence of the current world recession, depression and crisis. In the last analysis, within this context, the current "crisis" of Venezuela and the still ongoing war on Iraq have to be seen.

 
Although piling up a galaxy of arms of mass destruction themselves, the USA threaten North Corea, Iran, Libya and other countries with direct military invasion should they not destroy their meagre stocks of WMD's. On the other hand, countries friendly to the USA, like Israel, could amass whatever kind of weapons they please. Let me comment an article that appeared a while ago, that indicates the real danger of low intensity nuclear warfare:
