DANS LA PLUPART DES CAS CE SONT DES PERSONNES QUI N'ONT RIEN À VOIR AVEC LES FORCES POLICIÈRES ET ARMÉES. DES PERSONNES SANS HISTOIRE ET LOIN DES PRÉOCCUPATIONS DES POLITICIENS ET DE LEURS GUERRES.

En tant que porte-parole d'EmJEU, je tiens à répondre à une lettre intitulée «Objectif: l'avancement des connaissances sur le jeu pathologique» (LE SOLEIL, 2 mars 2006; LE DEVOIR, 7 mars 2006). D'emblée, il aurait été juste que ces chercheurs précisent qu'ils sont, au Québec, les chercheurs les mieux financés par l'industrie du jeu. Jusqu'en 2001, Ladouceur, Derevensky et Vallerand furent par ordre d'importance, les trois principaux chercheurs - sinon les seuls - dont les travaux furent financés par Loto-Québec. Je ne suis donc pas trop surpris de voir aujourd'hui ces trois mousquetaires (en fait ils étaient 5) s'associer pour auto-valider leurs dires.
