Basic positions of Montreal International Communists

Anonyme, Wednesday, January 2, 2008 - 10:31

It is important to point out that the political positions adopted by the Montreal Internationalist Communists represent only a basic summary in light of thorough ongoing discussions, between other parties, in order to equip us with an organisational platform. In fact, aiming for the greatest precision, these basic positions remain open to modification. In addition, the broad outline has been taken and forms, in general the true historical corpus of the proletarian political camp and is, in fact, non negotiable. As well, they are for now, first and foremost, a working tool for our group.

Anonyme, Monday, December 24, 2007 - 17:12

Dr. Walden Bello

The gap between the urgent threat of global warming and the collective will to do something about it has never been greater. The recently concluded Conference on Climate Change in Bali was a grand opportunity to act. Instead, it was another missed opportunity. Unfortunately, the United States played a very negative role, standing in the way of consensus at every turn. And unfortunately, the rest of the world thought that seducing the US into a new agreement on climate action was top priority, resulting in a Bali Roadmap that was very sketchy.

Bush and Ahmedinejad are Both our Enemies

Steve Tremblay, Saturday, December 22, 2007 - 14:18

Steve Tremblay

Our only way to oppose imperialism is to work to unite the working class against it through the creation of an international revolutionary organisation, a party. Not so immediate as signing a petition perhaps, but certainly, in the long run, the only real anti-imperialist option.

Anonyme, Sunday, December 9, 2007 - 13:50

Il semble que le gouvernement du Québec entretienne des liens étroits avec la plus importante compagnie de contrôle des médias du Québec.
