La base de la société du capital, c'est la concurrence dans la course à la valorisation, la course au taux de profit le plus fulgurant. L'histoire le montre, derrière le sempiternel spectacle des poignées de main entre dirigeants, derrière leurs "haines farouches", il y a les véritables alliances utiles et mouvantes, les coalitions de raison contre la classe ennemie, la diplomatie parallèle et les profits occultes,... Les rapports de force réels se jouent toujours en coulisse.
