The anti-G20/WB/IMF Housing Committee is pleased to offer you assistance in your search for accommodation while in Ottawa over November 14-19. We are actively registering and seeking space from community supporters willing to help house you during actions resisting the meetings of the World Bank, IMF, and G-20 (November 16-18) and the war in Afghanistan (November 17), and earlier events, so please provide us with the information requested below. Attention out-of-town anti-war/anti-capitalist/pro-democracy activists: The anti-G20/WB/IMF Housing Committee is pleased to offer you assistance in your search for accommodation while in Ottawa over November 14-19. (This is not unlike what has happened in other cities where these closed meetings of these "elite" have been held.) We are doing what we can to secure public space -- and this is essential! -- but we are also hoping to provide a significant amount of private billeting. Your host will set the departure and arrival dates and times for use of the billeting space - we ask you to be flexible and respectful of the constraints of those providing housing. We are looking to make billeting available for the evenings/nights of November 14-18, with an emphasis on the November 17th and 18th dates, as well for some offers of billets for events and meetings prior to November 14. (Many meetings, actions and events are planned in Ottawa from November 14-18th). If you are part of a group, please choose one person to communicate with us about housing if you can. Please do not submit multiple requests for housing. If you need to change previously registered information, make sure that you click on the change button on the web-based form.
