news department ckln 88.1 fm (ckln-news@sac.ryerson.ca)

Gord Hill of the Kwakiutl Nation (west coast of Canada) on the impact of globalization on First Nations and about the Quebec City protests against the FTAA.

Interview with Gord Hill of the Kwakiutl Nation (west coast of Canada). We talked about the role of corporations in the history of the colonization of the Americas; how the "B.C. Treaty Process" and "self-government" initiatives play into the agenda of international capital; the protests in Quebec; popular revolt, insurgency and insurrection.

21 minutes
The interview was done in a parking lot; there's some little background noise but it's not too bad.
