The Moroccan Association of the Human Rights (AMDH) calls for the participation in the sit-in to protest Against the meeting in Morocco of NATO and the Mediterranean Southern countries (of which Israel) Thursday April 06th, 2006 at 17h opposite the Parliament in Rabat.

Following the call launched by two political parties " la Voie Démocratique " and the « Parti d’Avant Garde Démocratique et Socialiste » to organize a Sit-in of protest on April 6th against holding in Morocco of a meeting of the 26 countries of NATO with the participation of 7 countries of the South of the Mediterranean (Morocco, Israel, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan),

Considering the constant position of the AMDH in favour of Peace, Democracy, Development and Right of the People to the Self-determination and which require the not-implication of Morocco in any imperialist strategy and in any standardization with Israel which continues to ridicule the resolutions of UNO, the requirements of Peace and National Rights imprescriptible of the Palestinian People.

The Central Office calls the AMDH adherents and the whole of the citizens to take part in the Sit-in of protest against the Meeting of NATO in Morocco Thursday April 6th from 17h to 18h before the Parliament in Rabat.
