David Frost 'front man' at al-Jazeera International?

For many international observers 'the straw that broke the camel's back' was the announcement that senior BBC newsman 'Sir' David Frost - a friend of Blair - would become some kind of international figurehead for al Jazeera

by Henk Ruyssenaars

FPF - Dec. 27th - 2005 - As an independent foreign correspondent I've also lived and worked for ten years in North West-Africa and the Middle East - including Gulf War I - and must admit that I lately have seen quite some eyebrows raised concerning al Jazeera - it's ownership - and the fear it's getting embadded with the mainstream propaganda media.

With all due respect and admiration for the excellent journalistic work this far done by the people working for the al Jazeera channel, and deeply regretting all journalists targeted and killed - [http://tinyurl.com/8f6dj] - I now wonder too about the course al Jazeera is taking in the present pool of journalism, larded with so much disinformation.

I've also worked for the BBC in English and German, when they still knew what journalism was. Now 'BBC' is short for "Broadcasting Blair's Crap".* I have - and had - many BBC correspondents as friends everywhere, and have seen Frost for years with his 'Breakfast show'. And I am as a senior correspondent and independent journalist - to say the least - 'not amused'. Frost - after a good start long ago - turned into a part of the British celibrity world, among the 'London bankpower brokers' and money makers, and is a typical journalist who lost sight of his fellow human beings including many colleagues. Frost has become part of the problem now facing the earth, and is not part of the solution anymore.

U.S. MILITARY DELIBERATELY TARGETED JOURNALISTS IN IRAQ

Remember last March? ''Recently at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Eason Jordan, a CNN executive, told a panel that the U.S. military deliberately targeted journalists in Iraq. He said he "knew of about 12 journalistswho had not only been killed by American troops, but had been targeted as a matter of policy," said Rep. Barney Frank (Dem) from Massachusetts who was on the panel with Jordan." - [http://tinyurl.com/bkzum] - One could read in China and Cuba about it, but I'm still waiting for those exclusive interviews by Frost with the originators of the 'friendly fire': the killers of his colleagues. He could ask Blair.

THE CIA FABRICATION OF THE LOCKERBIE TRIAL

He could also ask Blair about the Lockerbie disaster for instance, something I researched myself for years, also in Lybia. To name just one example out of many: I have never ever heard Frost in a real way on screen loudly complain about the rape of international law by the Dutch, Scottish and British judges - and/or so called 'moral leaders' - concerning the fake Lockerbie trial with it's CIA-fabricated 'evidence', as lately also confirmed by the british police. I never heard Frost complain that an innocent Lybian went to jail for life in Scotland. David has played along with the powerfull, not defending the underdogs which he should do. He's not supposed to keep the Huns at the helm.

HOW COME WAR CRIMINAL TONY BLAIR C.S. IS NOT IN JAIL YET?

Has anybody really seen or heard 'Sir' Frost openly attack the warmongers and 'advisers' of the British Prime, better said: 'Crime' Minister Tony Blair? The nefarious neocons? Nor has Frost attacked the inhumane group of warcriminals running the Bush racket, which has 'taken the gloves of' and shows what they think while wrecking our lives with their PNAC-genocide: Might makes Right.

All this was only possible because people like Frost fertilized with their media manure the battlefields. Without those propagandists - advocating the war - the immense slaughter going on right now would not have been possible. The BBC has been and still is one of the worst disinformation sources ever: it's honest journalism nearly killed by the people 'running the show'.

HAS CERTAINLY NOT DONE A GOOD JOB

Frost - in the winter of his career and autumn of his mind - has proved not to be a real journalist when he accepted the title 'Sir'. Any journalist, in whatever country - and there are very few exceptions - who is offered a government post, a gov't prize or even a title by the crooks in power, has certainly not done a good job.

Knowing that the British media are totally controlled by the power racket - via for instance the D-Notice too - (http://tinyurl.com/8n3rx) - I am most certainly not the only one who thinks Frost will show to be just a front man: a person used as a cover for some questionable disinformation activity.

A COURSE MOST OF US WHO LIKE AL JAZEERA FEAR, AND DEEPLY REGRET.
