9th INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY!
The year 2004 reminded us once again that the police harass, brutalize, and assassinate with impunity. Using tickets, batons, choke holds, pepper spray, tasers and guns, the police serve and protect the state, the rich, and their property. The victims of these abuses are most often the marginalized, the poor, the youth, people of colour, immigrants, indigenous people, and activists. We are certainly not missing any examples for proof…
