That even though the case of Ambazonia’s independence has always been a very easy one to articulate ALIP is for the AMBAZONIA LIBERATION PARTY 18 North 4th Street, Suite 704, PRESS RELEASE {belated} The Ambazonia Liberation Party (ALIP) USA has been launched in the United States of America. This inauguration was accomplished in the meeting in which Ambazonians and Friends of Ambazonia attended in their numbers as a demonstration that all it takes is for us, the people of AMBAZONIA to know who we really are and for us the people of Ambazonia to know what we really want. Nothing can be this simple to stand for! Held in the city of Minneapolis on October 2, 2004, at the Sabathani Community Center, one of the ALIP Working Group-USA member and Delegate General for Ambazonia, North America, Mr. Edwin Ngang, called on all Ambazonians to take very seriously this matter of our identity as one inextricably tied to the source of power of any state as it is of any liberation movement. In stressing the concept of self-interest, he said: “We will have to admit that our case for independence has been bungled, pure and simple and we must take it back. That the responsibility of our liberation has always rested on our shoulders as the united people of Ambazonia and should never have been delegated to anyone, albeit, our senior, the retired, the wealthy or the academician as it is now being held hostage
