North America: Terror Beyond Any Redemption and Salvationfranzjutta, Martes, Mayo 18, 2004 - 09:23 (Analyses | Democratie)

The latest lies, including the planned paramilitary attacks, perpetrated against Venezuela and the Chávez government surpass the Goebbels infowar propaganda machine by far; CNN even puts Newspeak to shame. Kerry is on the straight road to become a more astute Behemoth than the current Bush Leviathan in the making. And he is convinced that "Venezuela's Chavez is Becoming a Dictator". Concerning historic memory, the White House, the Pentagon and the NASA have forgotten all the dictators that they have supported in the past: from Batista, to Mobutu, to Pinochet, to Bin Laden, to Hussein, we could follow the long list of brutal dictatorial death trails. How democratic were the Florida elections that brought Bush to power, the whole world, except Bush and Kerry, knows the truth, but it seldom has the guts to tell the truth. What is the real Truth about the "Twin Towers" Massacre, we will only know in 50 years, or never ever. Chávez, in true Christian style, knows the American "truth", tells the truth, that is why he is free from US thought and mind control, This is also the reason why he is next on the list to get the Aristide VIP royal treatment. America's lies have very short wings, and it will have to tell a galaxy of lies to cover up the myriad of past and present untruths. The latest onslaught against Venezuela is an electoral campaign gadget to gain the votes of the Miami golpistas and their kith and kin. It has nothing to do with the revolutionary realities here in Venezuela. Replying to reporter Jorge Ramos whether Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez is a dictator or not, Kerry responded: "Chavez is fast on the road of becoming exactly that. He is breaking the rules of democracy. I think it is very important for him to allow that referendum to take place and for this administration and others to put more visibility on what is happening so we can hold him accountable to international standards of behavior. Democracy is at risk." Really, one must be an intellectual moron not to see the current US "international standards of (democratic) behaviour" in Afghanistan, Iraq and Haiti. In true Orwellian lingo, the present US government declares "War to be Peace", that "Slavery is Freedom", and that "Ignorance is Strength". America, study your Patriot Acts, your Homeland, the millions that your CIA has killed overseas, all very well. What Bush and Kerry have in mind, Orwell has described half-a-century ago. [See: George Orwell, 1984, The New American Library, New York, 1969] In the Third Millennium, how Big Brother, how America will complete the process of controlling nearly six billion obsolete physical slave labourers, of capturing biodiversity, Amazonia and oil fields, the central figure, Winston Smith himself, got a taste of it: "We shall crush you down to the point, from which there is no coming back. ... Never again will you be capable of ordinary human feeling. Everything will be dead inside you. Never again will you be capable of love, or friendship, or joy of living, or laughter, or curiosity, or courage, or integrity. You will be hollow. We shall squeeze you empty, and then we shall fill you with ourselves." (p.211). Then O'Brien, the Party member, explains the "world of fear and treachery", of Corporate Capitalism of the 21st Century to Winston: "A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but MORE merciless, as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress towards more pain. ... In our world, there will be no emotions except fear, rage, triumph and self-abasement. Everything else we shall destroy." (p.220). After Afghanistan, Iraq, Colombia, and soon Venezuela, this is an excellent description of the future life of terror on a world scale. When Winston claims to be a "man", a human being, O'Brien corrects him: "If you are a man, Winston, you are the last man. Your kind is extinct - we are the inheritors. Do you understand, that you are ALONE? You are outside history, you are non-existent." (p.222). This is exactly what Bush and Kerry think about Arab "terrorists", about the "dictator" Chávez. In total capitulation, finally Winston asks: "Tell me, how soon will they shoot me?" Cynically, O'Brien answers: "...Don't give up hope, ... in the end, we shall shoot you." This nearly happened to Chávez in April, 2002, on the Island of Orchila, during the coup d' etat attempt, aided by the USA in Venezuela. Currenbtly, as part of the US sponsored paramilitary invasion, it is being planned to assassinate Chávez again. This is not just "wishful thinking", "utopian dreaming" or "science fiction" writing; sad to say, it is not that we are still on our way to the "Promised Land", to World Fascism or to Neo-Barbarism, we are already in the epicenter of the American Dream of Globalization. If Bush and Kerry, by military force and genocide, with their arsenal of fatal, lethal, mortal arms of mass destruction, continue to threaten, to oust real, true democratic governments, like the one in Venezuela, then surely, we are already standing at our very own tombs, at the mass grave of humanity. At present here in Venezuela, like in Palestine, Haiti, Colombia, Iraq and Afghanistan, we are already living in: "a world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon ... Never again will we be capable of love, or friendship, or joy of living, or laughter, or curiosity, or courage, or integrity.". In many things, the "communist" Marx might have been proven wrong, but in one thing, he certainly hit the nail straight on the head: he himself had predicted today's Euro-US Barbarism. LONG LIVE THE ANTI-IMPERIALIST, CONTINENTAL, ARMED BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION!!
