Democracy Now! is among the alternative media outlets currently reporting that the deposed Haitian president is claiming he was "kidnapped and taken by force to the Central African Republic".
Democracy Now! is among several alternative media outlets currently reporting that deposed Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide is now claiming he was "kidnapped and taken by force to the Central African Republic".
This is contrary to previous reports which have claimed that Aristide left Port-au-Prince willingly "to avoid a bloodbath".
The current allegations also claim that US diplomats and military were directly involved in the ouster.
