Following the unanimous adoption of Resolution 1511 at
the Security Council, which in fact calls for the internationalisation
of the illegal and illegitimate occupation of Iraq, it is even more
important to demonstrate against this occupation and to
show that such a decision does not represent the will of
citizens of our countries.

Hello !

Saturday 25 October: Day of mobilisation
against the occupation of Iraq

Demonstration in Montreal 1:00 pm
Dominion Square, corner of Peel & Rene-Levesque
(metro Peel or Bonaventure)

NON to the occupation of Iraq
NON to all the pointless deaths
NON to any Canadian participation, direct or indirect,
in the so-called war on terrorism

The mobilisation in the US already seems to be very significant.
As of last Saturday, the ANSWER Coalition website was
indicating that buses would be leaving from 135 cities to
converge on Washington ! And other demonstrations will
take place in San Francisco and elsewhere in the US.

In Canada, demonstrations are known to be schedules in
Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon,
Winnipeg, Windsor, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and
in around 10 other cities (infos to date).

During the three remaining days, let's continue mobilizing!

In solidarity,

Raymond Legault
