The CLAC’s legal committee in collaboration with the COBP (Collective Opposed to Police Brutality) is appealing to anyone who was present during the preventative mass arrest of April 26 2002.

You are invited to participate to the first general assembly of the people who were encircled by the riot police, during the meeting of G8 ministers, in Montreal, on April 26 2002.

There’s two purposes for the meeting. First, it will be an occasion to discuss the upcoming collective trial that will take place at Montreal municipal court, on May 14 2003, for the persons who, on April 26 2002, had received a ticket by virtu of article 2 of the P-6 municipal bylaw (the “ anti-demonstration bylaw
