El imperialismo estadounidense bélico, con su estrategia de "la guerra preventiva, global e infinita", ha encontrado su "momento de verdad" (expresiones favoritas de Bush). Ese momento es la resistencia de la Humanidad contra la globalización capitalista, su dogma del "fundamentalismo del mercado" y las guerras sangrientísimas que resultan, especialmente la guerra contra el pueblo iraquí. Esta resistencia popular ha cambiado la política internacional aislando al gobierno ilegítimo, genocida y terrorista de Bush. Aquí se ofrecen algunas definiciones e interpretaciones de este momento, con un enfoque en las políticas bushianas y el nuevo movimiento antiguerra en los Estados Unidos.

Le silence rend complice et je me dois de parler au nom de tous les miens. Au nom de ma fille qui fête aussi ses trois ans et au nom des quatorze mille enfants qui meurent à chaque jour à cause de la bêtise, de l'arrogance et de l'avidité des riches, j'accuse aujourd'hui ces maîtres du monde financier dont on ne parle jamais.
