100 attend anti-G8 Caravan forum at McMaster University

On Wednesday, April 10th at McMaster University the anti-G8 caravan comprised of CLAC (Anti-capitalist convergence) and other social justice activists from Ottawa and Alberta emphasized to a crowd of more than a hundred the importance of confronting the G8 agenda at the local level as well as at large mobilizations.

Using concrete examples of how the neo-liberal policies planned at the G8 meetings affect communities here and around the world, speakers urged all social justice activists in the region to plan local actions and a trip to Ottawa to “Take the Capital!
