David Bernans launches Con U Inc.

vieuxcmaq, Monday, September 17, 2001 - 11:00

Concordia Student Union (christoff@tao.ca)

David Bernans activist and writer launches his first book Con U Inc.

Tuesday, September 18 at 7pm in Reggie's Bar.

Sick of the deafening silence about everything that is
wrong with Concordia (and the rest of the world) -
racism, corporate power, militarism, etc.?

Come to an event where the silence will be broken.

The launch of a new book by CSU researcher David
Bernans. Con U Inc. is a book that tells it like it is.

Hear master of ceremonies Rob Green with his guitar
sing it like it is (along with other musical guests
who are invited to take the stage spontaneously).

Hear interesting guests also tell it like it is:

Delores Chew: a prof, a researcher and an activist.

Helen Hudson: editor of Con U Inc. and co-coordinator
of QPIRG-Concordia.

Erika Shaker: from the Canadian Centre for Policy
Alternatives.

And, thanks to the miracle of video link-up: Laith
Marouf and Tom Keefer (students expelled for telling
it like it is).

And enjoy it all with some cheap beer and free snacks
from the People’s Potato.
And be sure to tell it all your friends (like it is).
