I am painter (I do not have nor alive house and in a study that left a friend me. I win enough to eat the day to day). Works mine form part of the collection of Arrabal, Darío Fo, Kundera, Umberto Echo, Camilo José Cela, Alberti, Jean Baudrillard, Vanarsky, Albiac.. I gave a work to the IES of Celanova well and they threw it to the sweepings.

My name is Manuel Vázquez Ribada and I consider myself a "woker of paint"(this is something that the great Courbet said and i also believe "the big for the small" Cristino de Vera). I´m from Peares (Ourense) and a few years ago I gave a painting to IES (Instituto de enseñanza secundaria) of Celanova (Ourense. Spain). I live in Ourense (I have neither a home nor an account in a bank and I live in a
grade floor that a friend, phisiotherapist of the town, has lent me. I earn enough to eat day by day and I don´t complain about that as I always liked that way of life). I have to say that my art is part of the collections of
Fernando Arrabal, Umberto Eco, Camilo José Cela, Darío Fo, Jean Braudrillard, Milan Kundera, Michael Houellebecq, Jack Vanarsky, Rafael Alberti, Gabriel Albiac(I sold it to them at the same price as to everybody else. I consider myself a worker of paint something like being a construction worker. I neither complain about that because it´s a concious
decition and I consider that the most honest thing is the day by day. I´ve been many years like this and I enjoy this way of life. I have a good time).I belive that what I do is honorable. But when put in touch with the Institute Director (Camilo Ogando)to know what´s happened with the painting i gave he tells me that he has thrown it
in the bin. (I do complain about that) I believe that a person who does this (confuse a public centre with his
private property) shouldn´t be responsible of a public institute (which belongs to all citizens). And that also includes the whole executive team for having given their consent.
