These five amateur videos filmed on the streets of Québec City present both sides of the story from the recent Summit of the Americas; both the stupidity of certain protesters as well as the overwhelming abuse of power on behalf of the police forces involved.

The authors of these videos are unknown to me. I have simply created a page as quickly as possible from a public computer -thus the quality of the HTML- to facilitate the viewing and downloading of these video files. The files are large, so it will be practically impossible for you to download these without high-speed internet access. Believe me, however, the rest of you: they are well worth the wait. The first four videos depict mostly the solidarity that existed amongst the crowd, but the last, filmed on Saturday night, is truly shocking... particularly the last minute or so. Those of you who haven't seen it probably won't believe it.

Translation: "This is my home... you have no right to do this!"

Please keep in mind that the nature of this media is far from being purely sensationalistic, its purpose is in fact to depict what conventional media and government didn't want us to see as well as, sadly, the scenes they were more than happy to diffuse around the world.
