Fight back big money media by hitting them where it counts, MONEY

After stopping on Fox News the evening of A20 I finally blew my fuse on corporate media. There was a roundtable discussion about the Quebec free trade summit and reaction to the 'Mayhem'.
Every member of the panel said the protesters were just anarchists wanting to cause trouble and it is just going to keep the poor, poorer. For one panelist's credit he had pointed out that some unions were present. But then he dumped on them. It was such blatant B.S., a refusal to even discuss the others view (something that usually is present at a roundtable discussion). I had one small sliver of respect for the news before. It has vanished.
There is only one thing left for us to do. Strike back where it counts. Money. I have two ideas.
1.Every reception area for a doctor, dentist, etc. subscribes to Time, Newsweek and other forms of corporate media. STEAL THEM. Replace them with other journals such as The Progressive, or other independents. Make sure you recycle the old journals. This will cause two things. Liberating the reception area of such B.S. and if the journals are disappearing the people who run the reception area will most likely stop subscribing.
2.Stop buying CDs from major labels such as Warner or Sony. I know that this is a sacrifice but it is very important. Many of us are the target consumers for these labels. If we stop buying the records much money will be lost. Perhaps even the artists will remove themselves from their respective labels when they stop getting paid. There are also many good artists on indy labels. If you have a favorite artist send them a letter explaining why you are no longer purchasing their material.
3. Post more ideas if you have them.

We will win because WE are the People and of course There ain't no power like the Power of the People because the Power of the People DON'T STOP!
