vieuxcmaq, Tuesday, April 17, 2001 - 11:00

news department CKLN 88.1 fm (ckln-news@disinfo.net)

Radio public service announcement (60s) about hopes for the days of action against the Summit of the Americas

Community & pirate radio -- Steal this PSA!

"I hope that it will be energizing space
where people that are doing action
are feeling empowered
while doing action

while facing repression
while facing their fear of repression
and their fear of confronting the system

this moment where people can relate to each other
and just feel that they are not alone in the struggle
that there are people that are ready to oppose
and clearly demonstrate that they are against
and that we need to take back our streets, our lives and our communities

i hope it's fun also
because if it's not fun,
you're just dragging the hardness and the drabness, drabness
of the system with you while organizing
and i don't want that
i want people to have fun"

Feel free to add your own station IDS or local announcements; there's space at the end of the file!
