During the week surrounding May Day 2001, filmmakers and activists from all over the world will converge on Los Angeles in a celebration of truth, storytelling, activism and solidarity. With new affordable filmmaking and communications technologies springing up all over the world, the paradigm of elitist corporate media is fast losing its grip and giving way to a new breed of self-empowered artists. If not now, when? Come rise up in the streets on May Day then show your work and support those who do! Radical political films, video, animation, anti-mercials, bands, raves, speakers, teach ins, filmmaker awards and all the truth you can handle!!!!!!!!!!!!
