Stockwell Day change de nom !

vieuxcmaq, Monday, November 20, 2000 - 12:00

"This Hour Has 22 Minutes", a CBC comedy airing on Monday nights at 8pm, is running an online petition and want your help!

As part of the Canadian Alliance election platform, Stockwell Day has promised that if 350,000 Canadians sign a petition on any given issue (that's 3% of the voting public), the Alliance will call a referendum on that issue. This is not a joke; it is part of their official platform document revealed last week.

In the event that Day and his party win the next Federal election, "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" is sponsoring the following online petition:

"We demand that the Government of Canada force Stockwell Day to change his first name to Doris."

Show the world that participatory democracy still works! Sign this petition today!
