Capitalism is dying!

Anonyme, Sunday, October 26, 2008 - 14:56

Destroying capitalism ? It's in these today struggles, in their development, in their spreading and in their unification, that the international proletariat develops its determination and its confidence in its capacity to struggle, to resist. It's in these struggles that it develops above all its experience and its consciousness, thus its capacity to destroy capitalism and set up an other society, exempt from wars, hunger and misery, without classes, nor exploitation.

CAPITALISM IS DYING !
PROLETARIANS OF ALL COUNTRIES, UNITE FOR PUTTING IT DOWN !

Tremendous bankruptcy of great banks, collapse of stockmarkets, scarcity of credit to the firms and to the private individuals, emergency nationalizations of banks and insurance companies in order to avoid a sharp collapse of all international financial system, and now the world recession which becomes firmly established and which will deepen ; all this provokes a real panic amongst governments and capitalists of the planet. This too provokes a serious anxiety in the whole population and in particular in all the proletariat. Every worker, employee, salaried, knows perfectly well he will have to pay the bill. And firstly the cost of nationalization of the great US, European, and others, financial companies.

Capitalism's bankruptcy is irremediable

According to governments, to politicians, to the medias and other patters of the bourgeoisie, this crisis would be due to the irresponsibility of bad traders who played at the stockmarkets. Lie ! To the immorality of financial raptors. Lie ! To the madness of the real-estate business and to its "sub-primes" mortgages. Once more a lie ! To the markets lack of rules. They don't stop lying ! It would have suffice, they tell us, to "moralize" financial capitalism and to impose firmer rules to avoid this catastrophe. Every time, at each new crisis, they give us the same patter : capitalism isn't responsible, just its excesses.

But there is nobody to explain us why capitals better invert in the speculation rather than in the production sectors. Nevertheless it is simple : the profits gained from the inversion in the sectors of production are too low. And they are too low because the world market is unable to absorb all the goods that the productive forces can create. It is a long time since capitalism develops, through the exploitation of the working class of all countries, such a capacity of productive forces which can't find the commercial outlets for the selling of all the goods produced. Thus there is an historical contradiction in capitalism : there are too much productive forces while billions of human beings are in misery, unable to buy the huge mass of goods which are produced. This means the historical bankruptcy of the capitalist mode of production and the present terrible crisis is not but its expression.

We pay for capitalism's run into massive and generalized debt !

One of the means used by capitalism, for ages, to overcome the overproduction of goods is to artificially create a market through massive and generalized debt, firstly of the States. But, even if it delays the explosion of the disease, the remedy doesn't but deepen the disease. Today, the capitalist world is confronted with a mountain of debts that nobody - and above all not the States, nor the ruling class - is going to pay back... and that the international proletariat will have to pay with its sweat and its blood. As for the nationalizations of the bankrupted banks, the burden of the massive injection of "liquidities" by the Central Banks in order to avoid the credit crunch - and thus the paralysis of the economy - and the creation of the salvaging plans will be borne by the working class with sacrifices, misery, increasing exploitation, unemployment and repression.

But, as for the generalized debt, it won't suffice. In front of the bankruptcy and the lack of solvent markets - and even if, today, in this end of 2008, the world bourgeoisie which is in panic in front of the risk of generalized collapse, makes temporally disappear its rivalries in order to find a global response - the economical and commercial competition, already acute, will tomorrow become even more salvage and brutal ; and at first between the capitalist States, which are the expressions of each national capital and the main defensors of its interests. All this can't but lead up, besides an increased exploitation of the working class in all countries, to commercial and economical exacerbated rivalries, up to transform them into political, military and imperialist rivalries in which the main capitalist powers of the world play the first parts, the ones against the other.

We pay for capitalism's run to a new world war !

No illusion ! There are no possible reforms and even less any solution in today capitalism. For this one, there is only one outcome to the economical crisis and to global and definitive bankruptcy it represents : massive destructions and gigantic mass graves through world war. It is precisely what this system have proven twice in the 20th Century. The 1929 crisis - to which all economists and others refer today with fear, to describe the extent of the present crisis - has led up to World War Two. It happened the same with the economical difficulties -expressed in the 1907 financial crisis - at the beginning of the 20th Century which plunged the capitalist world into World War One. Already, the violent international recession which has just begun, can't but exacerbate even more the imperialist rivalries between the great powers. The local wars multiply in all the continents, putting more and more directly the main imperialist powers face to face, as has just showed the war between Russia and Georgia. Far for slowing down, this conflict which opposed directly the Russian and the US navies in the Black Sea, has for consequence the acceleration of the setting up of military systems every where in the world and above all in the very Europe. Everyone can verify it : preparations for military confrontations between the main imperialist powers of the planet is clearly under way.

No illusion ! Capitalism must be brought down and a new society without classes must be set up !

No illusion ! Bankrupted capitalism prepares for decisive, massive, brutal and bloody confrontations against the international working class in order to impose it a complete and total submission. Since only the international proletariat - the main productive class, the salaried class - represents an obstacle for the ruling class in its march towards generalized war. Only, it can really fight and destroy capitalism, save humanity and set up a new society without classes, thus without exploitation and without war.

Fighting capitalism ? The working class already fights through its present struggle and strikes, as limited as they are, against capitalist policies of all kind. The medias exert, at this level, a genuine censorship and, when they can't hide the reality of these fights, they misrepresent them. Who, these last days, has heard about the general strike in Belgium ? Who, these last days, has heard about the general strike in Greece ? Who has heard about the strikes and demonstrations in the car industry in Europe, in Volkswagen, in Renault, etc ? Who has heard about the strike of the Boeing workers in the United-States ? And how many others, in all continents ?

These struggles, even though often still insufficient to make withdraw the bourgeoisie's immediate attacks, express the fact that the working class refuses to submit its interests to those of the exploiting class, that it's not ready to accept new and even more serious and brutal sacrifices : massive unemployment, drastic drop of wages, of social benefits, of pensions, all mainly intolerable policies that the bourgeoisie, facing recession, begins already to impose it. And, even less, the final sacrifice of life in a generalized war.

It's also in the capacity of the genuine communist groups of today - as weak, as dispersed, as isolated, they are - to intervene in a decided and determinant manner in these struggles, putting forwards clear political orientations, that this fight of the working class will take all its dimension. And it's in the capacity of these political minorities to unite and constitute a genuine world Communist Party that the international proletariat would really and effectively be able to appropriate the program of the Revolution, the Communist Program.

We must end with illusions : with capitalism's bankruptcy, the time is to massive and frontal confrontations between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. The latter can't miss this rendez-vous. The fate of humanity is at stake.
