The Second Annual International Multiracial Alliance Building Peace Conference, known as the 2006 A World Beyond Capitalism Conference is set to begin August 26th in Portland. It will continue from August 26th-28th, 2006. There is no charge for anything! http://aworldbeyondcapitalism.org

The 2006 A World Beyond Capitalism Conference is set to begin August 26th! It is the Second Annual International Multiracial Alliance Building Peace Conference, and will continue from August 26th-28th, 2006.

All workshops, festivals, childcare, meals, camping and unlimited
exhibiting/tabling are completely free!

This international conference will also feature a conference within a conference for all indymedia groups and independent media activists coming from all over the world! All services are free of charge so it enables people of all social classes to get involved.

S.U.R.G.E. = Social Uprising, Resistance and Grassroots and Encouragement

"SURGE" is the first international activist film festival which not only is an annual film festival, but it is also a film festival network which enables people all over the world to bring the entire film festival into their area of the world! SURGE is dedicated to international and unparalled outreach in order to promote progressive activism through Film, Music and Visual Arts. Its mission is to strengthen the voice of international activists - while encouraging activists to continue working for a better world!
