Dear Canada, We Have A Few Simple Requests

Anonyme, Monday, November 22, 2004 - 21:57

Stephen DeVoy

Please, Canada, do the right thing.

Dear
Canada, We Have A Few Simple Requests

Dear Canada,

At the end of this month, our "President" will be visiting
your great land.  Since most Canadians live within an hour's drive of the
border, I am sure that by now you are aware of the terrible difficulties that
face even the most innocent visitors to the United States as they cross the
border.  Despite the fact that the average visitor has never murdered,
never ordered torture, never snorted cocaine, never been arrested for drunk
driving, never went AWOL and never lied to provoke a war, the unfortunate
visitor may be subjected to all kinds of horrible inspections and
interrogations.  For example, some are subject to body cavity searches,
drug sniffing dogs, x-rays and frantic groping of their private parts.
Others are subjected to intense interrogation, proof that they are not seeking
work, proof that they have no terrorist connections (oh, by the way, our
"President" is a close friend of the bin-Laden family) and proof that
they intend to return.

Given this gross injustice imposed upon innocent visitors to the United
States, we request that you receive George Bush not only in accordance with
Canadian laws regarding immigration, but that you impose the full weight of the
USA PATRIOTIC Act upon our "President" as he enters your
country.  Remember, George Bush has, in fact, ordered the murder of
thousands of innocent Iraqis and Afghanis.  George Bush has ordered
torture.  George Bush has snorted cocaine and been arrested for drunk
driving.  George Bush did go AWOL and his record for lying is legend.
Under these circumstances, it is our belief that George Bush should only be
admitted to Canada after all proper precautions have been taken.

Also, while you are at it, please note that you are a signatory to many
international laws broken by George Bush.  Violations of the Geneva
Convention are war crimes and, therefore, Canada has an obligation to arrest war
criminals and hand them over to an international tribunal for trial.  We
trust that you are a just nation and would not treat an American war criminal
any differently than you would, say, treat a German or Serbian war criminal.

We trust that you will do the right thing.
