You are hereby invited to the infringement festival (June 10 - 20), which is currently featuring over 20 critical acts, screenings, and events: http://www.infringementfestival.com/eng/groups.html The Infringement Festival is an interdisciplinary festival open to all critical artists and activists. Celebrating Freedom of Expression and designed as a real arts democracy, this festival is a critical response to the oppressive neoliberal worldview and all its Billboard Trucks, Televisions, flyers, advertisements, jingles, made-for-TV Wars; and the depoliticisation of people through this diversionary Spectacle. For recent media on the festival, see here: http://www.rabble.ca/babble/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=001125 If you are interested in presenting one of your own acts, workshops, protests, or events, please get in touch with organizer Jason McLean at infringement@travestytheatre.com or 273-6929. We are hoping to make this first inaugural festival as big and as critical as possible, so please spread the word. Cheers!
