Rezan
The present situation in Iraq has further exposed the foolishness of both the USA and the UK to understand the sense of patriotism of the Iraqi people. Both these countries are using powerful weapons and shooting down innocent civilians to achieve what they call 'order and democracy' in Iraq. This 5000-year old magnificent civilisation does not need help how to run a democracy from a 500-year old arrogant power which built its country over the bones of the native american. Or the ex-colonialist British who exploited ,bullied and looted the countries of the so-called third world. The lies of these two arrogant bullying nations who obviously have a hidden agenda in Iraq are beginning to realize that their dishonest character is being exposed to the Iraqis whom they are supposed to help. They tried their best to exploit the Shia-Sunni differences as much as they could. But these foolish ignorant governments do not understand that Islam is one great religion and will never bow down to the will of any invader. They are beginning to see this now. But the latest statements are that they will never leave so easily. They know they are wrong but have no sense of honour nor shame. The arrogance of wealth and military power and ownership of deadly weapons of mass destruction are at their disposal and they love to use it without any conscience whatsoever especially against non-white nations of the world. Would they use it agianst their own people? never. Because to them the coloured nations of the world are sub-humans fit to be told and trampled upon. Right from the fifties the world has observed they have used nuclear weapons without any qualms of conscience whatsoever. Japan, korea, vietnam,Laos, afghanistan and now of course Iraq. all non-western countries. Have you noticed this. Yet they raise a hue and cry if some other non-western country owns a fraction of these weapons as they did recently regarding Iraq. Finally they have not even discovered them and this whole episode of lies has reached unproportioned scales of mayhem and murder. They have removed Saddam which was supposed to be their primary objective in Iraq. But they wish to hang on. Even for the next ten years in the words of an American military official. They have air power and do not hesitate to bomb civilian targets to achieve their 'aim'. In their quest of revenge which is clearly based on their racist fascist minds they have even dragged in other countries like Bulgaria,Ukrraine etc who are unfortunately economically dependent on them. The United States is completely backed by the UK and Australia in this power crazed adventure. We have to admire the wisdom of germany and france for their neutral stance in this respect. Kofi Annan is just a figurehead who I am sure is secretly despised and hence has no power to decide anything. He should resign and place somebody more powerful and capable than his lonely self. The UN should have a deciding power to rein in the rash actions of irresponsible, arrogant powers in the world. Otherwise it should be completely scrapped. The voice of righteousness and human justice should rise above the ugly force of materialism and greed for wealth and power. Only then can our children hope to live in a safer world. It is up to the all right- thinking brave, honest and commited people in the United States,Canada,UK,Australia and all European and other nations of the world to understand the reality of this grave political situation which can conflagarate into an inferno of mindless violence and tragic despair. We are all humans . No human is above the rest.
