It is exceedingly important, Oh world Hear this! that the EARTH CHARTER BE PROCLAIMED and known, and concensed upon among all the peoples of Earth. It is the high upfonting anthithesis of the "Cancun declaration" made obscurely here in Cancun two years ago, fostered by the Big G countries of the WTO.
Th Earth Charter is the main civil,ecological,minority and women rights GLOBAL DOCUMENT put together and concensed by the mayor NGO Groups and individuals who were,with me in Rio for the Earth Summitt in 1992.
THE REASON ITS IMPORTANT IS THAT IT IS MORE UPDATE AND MORE SIGNIFICANT NOW TODAY THAN WHEN IT WAS DRAFTED AND AGREED UPON.
Now the U:N: has lost its power, even its moral power and its now the PEOPLE, THE PEOPLES OF THE WORLD WHO HAVE TO MAKE IT A REAL-REAL EVENT!iTS URGENT. iTS NECCESSARY. iTS HEALING FOR COMMUNITIES, TOWNS AND CITIES AND INDIVIDUALS.

In 2001, the twelve mayor bio-diverse and culturally diverse countries of the world met in Cancun, through the agency and cunning intelligence of the great G countries into what they called the "Group of Mega-diverse countries in Affinity". Nether I nor the other local ecologists, NO ONE KNEW OF THIS.IT NEVER CAME OUT IN THE NEWSPAPER OR THE LOCAL NEWS.I FOUND OUT ONLY FEW WEEKS AGO THROUGH THE AlaiNET ARTICLE. iTS AIM ARE THE MOST ECO-DEMAGOGIC ENDS ONE CAN THINGK OF. Not only pushes for the patent of life, all life that can be sold for a profit, but aims at organizing it, its information,its origin and then paying royalties or benefits to the companies who will have the total and only right through the "intellectual property rights". It is an up-front instrument of biopiratetry. Article author comspares it to Francis Drake,the pirate bloodthirst, latter named Sir Francis Drake when he "agreed" to pay royalties to the Queen.
Well, the Earth Charter, is the direct anthithesis of it.
I am stunt and surprised at the same time how little do people in Cancun really know what the WTO means. Many think of the meeting as "good" because "it will bring tourism". The press, Ive had very many didactic moments with individuals from the press trying to make them concious. But work, and activism, has started, in my opinion, a little bit too late.
SO I ASK YOU, I MANIFEST TO YOU, AN S.O.S. CALL TO YOU. Post the EARTH CHARTER DOCUMENT in webpages and places where is mostly seen. Those of you who are webmasters PLEASE! MAKE A WEBSITE WITH THE BEST SEARCH ENGINES SO THAT PEOPLE CAN SIGN UP TO IT. BE CREATIVE.
Let me know, please tell me where can I post it to you so that you guys start doing a spiralling work. Translator to other languages are needed also.Make a consensus agreeing in making Info Chains, that is, you receive it and give it and send it out to many others with the instructions that they do the same and those who get it from them do the same, and so on and so on.WE NEED TO STAND UP FOR THE REAL NEW WORLD.But it becaomes impossible without thought out activism. Dont risk yourself more that you can.Care for yourself. But act intelligent in geting the word spread out more. I (and we) are not soo much against "Global", because the world, through communications has already become globalized. What we stand up forth AGAINST is as to what, in the "obscure chambers" the great G powers want to do and are doing with MANIPULATION AND CONTROL.THEY HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT CONTROLLING FOR SOME TIME. But now its almost Armagedon. They what TOTAL CONTROL NOW.
