A press conference for mass and independent media, organized
by the media commitee of the Popular Mobilisation Against the
WTO.

--> Direct Action Workshops -- sessions on legal and medical

Free! (voluntary donations appreciated). Wheelchair
accessable. Daycare on site. Translation
English/French/Spanish available. Free lunch. Welcome all.

A complete day of workshops, presentations and discussions on
subjects such as:

- War and militarisation
- Agriculture
- Sovereinty of indiginous peoples
- Work
- Poverty
- Women
- Immigration and displacement
- Intellectual property rights
- Alternatives to capitalism

There will also be a workshop on creative resistance: street
theatre, making of banners and signs.

--> NO ONE IS ILLEGAL!: A celebration of resistance in the streets
of Montreal, 1:00pm

Meeting place: at the corner of Guy and de Maisonneuve
(Guy-Concordia Metro)

Presentations, music and poetry! Bring your banners, noises
and symbols of resistance. The No One is Illegal invites
children and people of all ages to participate and there will
be no direct action.

The NO ONE IS ILLEGAL march opposes war, occupation,
colonialism, genocide and forced displacement. The day before
the mini-ministerial metting of the WTO in Montreal, the
participants in the No One is Illegal demonstration will march
in opposition to the neo-colonialist plans of the WTO and
their partisans, all the while celebrating our collective
power and resistance. The No One is Illegal march will
concentrate on the struggles of the indiginous peoples,
immigrants and refugees -- using words, poetry and music --
and will show our clear opposition to wor and occupation be it
in Iraq or in Palestine, in Columbia or in the Phillipines, in
Chiapas or on Turtle Island.

There will be important updates as well as an information
table for people from out of town that haven't confirmed their
sleeping places in advance.

[NOTE: The Montreal Mobilization against the WTO strongly
encourages affinity groups working in similar spirit to
organize autonomous actions to interrupt or disrupt the WTO
meeting in Montreal. The mini-ministerial meeting of the WTO
will no longer take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, and it
will be found at the Sheraton Centre ((Address?))

===== MONDAY 28 JULY =====

--> DAY OF ACTION: let us disrupt the mini-ministerial meeting of
the WTO! 6:30am!

Two snake marches leaving from different locations which will
meet up at the location of the WTO's mini-ministerial
meeting. Leaving at 6:30am sharp! The two starting points are:

1) Phillips Square (corner of St-Catherine W. and Union,
McGill Metro)
2) Guy-Concordia Square (in front of Guy-Concordia Metro, Guy
exit)

--> GREEN ZONE 10:00am - 5:00pm

Location to be confirmed.

The green zone will be a safe location to relax, with food,
information and workshops

--> SPOKESCOUNCIL/GENERAL ASSEMBLY 6:30pm
