I read the article about the Fatwa requiring all people to oppose Bush at

This article "Shade" covers similar ground but does bring in the quotes at begining of US acting like a Go. Also the entire New York times article by Berman is fascinating. Yje quote from "Shade" is startling considering the source (NYT)

"Paul Berman stated in the New York Times Magazine (March 23, 2003) [There] is no answer to the terrorists. The terrorists speak insanely of deep things. The anti-terrorists better speak sanely of equally deep things… Who will defend liberal principles in spite of liberal society’s every failure? "

The unanimity of Islamic condemnation and other churches too, the rising acceptance of bin Laden by moderates and the writings of Sayyid Qubt definitely need to be read by all -

I voted -1 on this article because it does not respect the editorial policy of CMAQ which clearly states that hatred language and calls to violence are not acceptable.
