Un an après la plus grande mobilisation ouvrière de son histoire, la Guadeloupe va-t-elle revivre une grève générale ? Tout semble en effet réuni pour que la lutte reprenne. La situation de la classe ouvrière dans ce département d’outre-mer n'a guère évoluée depuis les accords qui ont mis fin, le 4 mars 2009, à 44 jours de grève, de manifestations et de rassemblements ouvriers.

Alors que sont en cours les Olympiques de Vancouver, ille est intéressant de s’interroger sur le phénomène olympien. Ille va sans dire que même si le point de vue ici adopté se veut largement critique, l’objectif est tout autre que de reprocher aux gens d’apprécier le spectacle des JO (Jeux Olympiques). Le but est plutôt d’amener une réflexion sur les phénomènes sociaux liés aux Jeux tels qu’ils sont actuellement organisés et présentés.
