LAX Shooting Clearly an Islamist Terrorist Act

Mueller and Ashcroft Should Be Fired

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and abuse, said today that the Bush administration is continuing a practice of providing the American public with false and misleading information concerning Islamist terror plans and attacks against the United States.

Richard Garcia, the FBI agent in charge of the investigation stated, "This appears to be an isolated incident," and added that the FBI is not looking for other suspects, in response to questions posed by reporters concerning Thursday’s shooting at Israel's El Al ticket counter in the Tom Bradley International Terminal of the Los Angeles International Airport.

Special Agent Garcia was supported shortly thereafter by FBI spokesman Matt McLaughlin, who stated, “. . . there's nothing to indicate terrorism at this point.
