Kaie Kellough Launches Jigsaw Skyline
Wednesday 20th February
Casa Del Popolo

Jigsaw Skyline follows Fire Escapes a chapbook
released in 2001 as the second in a series of
three chapbooks by Kaie Kellough. Both chapbooks
include drawings by Stefan Christoff to follow the
poems. Jigsaw Skyline is made up of 3 long poems,
all centered in downtown Montreal. This is not quaint
lyric poetry. Through an examination of current and
past events, a look into the lives of the people who
populate the neighborhoods, pubs, streets in
question, Jigsaw Skyline examines the ways class,
race, age, and social position are lived.
