Support The Iraqi People’s ResistanceAnonyme, Jeudi, Mars 2, 2006 - 14:46 (Communiqués | "Anti-terrorisme"/Liberté | Culture | Democratie | Elections & partis | Guerre / War | Imperialism | Media: Liberte/Freedom | Racism | Religion | Repression | Resistance & Activism) US rulers are determined to seize exclusive domination of the Middle East. This is because of the importance of the region and its resources for the US "long war" to control the world. The aim of the “long war" is to prevent the rise of rival imperialist powers as well as crushing people’s resistance and revolution around the world. Both collusion and contention are always present amongst imperialists and recently European powers led by France and Germany have shifted temporarily to defend US moves in the region. One of the most important reasons for this shift is the outcome of the occupation of Iraq. US imperialists have miserably failed to crush Iraqi people’s resistance to establish relative stability for the US stooges ruling Iraq. This failure has created more people’s resistance against imperialism all over the Middle East especially in the occupied Palestine and Afghanistan. US failure has also created fear amongst the European imperialists that the instability of the region following the US defeat in Iraq would be catastrophic for their own regional and strategic interests. In Iraq, the US puppet regime, which has come to power with the backing of American guns, is in deep crisis and has no legitimacy amongst the majority of the people. Flattening cities like Fallujah, continued bombing, genocide, imprisonment and torture of tens of thousands all in the name of their phony democracy has revealed the true nature of the imperialists even further. These political, global gangsters who rule over the most bloodthirsty “civilization" in the history of mankind are desperately trying to avoid a humiliating defeat in Iraq. The old tactic of divide and rule which has been openly implemented in Iraq since the occupation has now become the main item on the US and British occupier’s agenda. By creating chaos and creating a sectarian civil war they hope to divide, weaken and eventually break the Iraqi people’s resistance. Then under the pretext of bringing peace, the imperialist military forces can intervene hoping to legitimize their military presence in Iraq and prolong the occupation. A sectarian civil war would give the occupiers and their puppet regime a chance to stomp on the Iraqi people’s national pride even further. Today the biggest threat facing the Iraqi people and their resistance against the US and British imperialists are attempts at weakening the Iraqi people’s unity. British imperialism’s most recent experience in weakening people’s resistance in the North of Ireland is most probably to be used in Iraq. The imperialist media deliberately tries to link recent sectarian attacks to the insurgents, they have even stated that the attackers in Samara wore police uniform. Many in the Middle East blame the bombing on either the Iraqi puppet government or the occupation forces. By fanning the flames of a sectarian civil war in Iraq both the occupiers and their puppet regime hope to weaken and eliminate their opposition. In Britain we need to unite to expose all three major ruling class parties and their parliament who are responsible for their war crimes in Iraq. We need to unite and support the Iraqi people and their resistance until they kick the imperialists out of Iraq and take their destiny into their own hands.
