NEGATIVE ADVERTISING HAS BEEN VERY USEFUL. BOTH REACTIONARY PARTIES HAVE NO PLATFORM AND WASTE OUR TIME WITH INSULT AND INOUENDO. THE NDP AND THE BLOC HAVE POSITIVE, CLEAR PLATFORMS AND THEY INFORM THE ELECTOR WHEN THEY SPEAK. THE NON-QUANTIFIED CONSERVATIVE PLATFORM IS REPEATED OVER AND OVER AGAIN BY THE CONSERVATIVES TO BYPASS THE INNOUENDO AND THE NON-PLATFORM OF MARTIN REMAINS HIDDEN UNDER NEGATIVE ATTACKS. Martin will pass to history as the most pathetic and egotistical Prime Minister. Out of respect for the Liberal party that does not exist now, he should resign and invite true liberals to vote NDP to contain the American and Corporative Platform of Harper. The whole Canadian electorate would react with respect for Martin and the Liberal Party would stand a chance to return to the values of Pearson or Trudeau. Martin is now the foreign-flag-tax-evader sitting on a pile of corruption, speaking with both sides of the mouth. His leadership not the scandals is taking the liberal party out of Parliament, perhaps forever. Out of respect for the historical value of the Liberals, I hope that Martin is defeated in his own riding. When nearly 27 billions are not assigned in Harper’s platform it is credible to believe that he has a hidden agenda. He is supporting with his mouth the financial balance, which is at the root of the division of Canada. But, how will he correct it? By abandoning investment in Medicare, social infrastructure and housing, like the Liberals did just to show surpluses and hidden payola money? That hole in his budgeting is alarming because Harper has the charisma to score a major victory, a charisma that resembles that of Mulroney whose screwing of Canada was the most cynical in Canadian history. What hides behind the charisma of Harper? A Mulroney? A Preston Manning? A Bush lieutenant? Who is behind that young and attractive smile? We can support Layton or Duceppe with no scruples. They both have spoken the truth on a valid vision of the reality of Canada from the point of view of individual electors, not massive corporations. They have integrity and respect for our Nations, if we accept Quebec as a Nation, like leaders have accepted the Aboriginal Nation and the Acadian Nation as being special cultures, builders of Canada. I expect tomorrow the surprise of this century. We must vote for Canada, for our fellow Canadians that are struggling and above all, for our children. A million poor children are disenfranchised citizens in this election. They cannot vote. We have the obligation of protecting their civic rights and vote for the NDP or the Bloc that defend these million fellow citizens that have not the right to vote. Their case is that of “taxation without representation |
