Attention this is a rectification: Protest against Palestinian deportations!Anonyme, Vendredi, Juillet 2, 2004 - 22:40 Why is it their homes have been destroyed? In Palestine, most homes and cultures have been destroyed! The families that are over here come from campements in the South, Aïn el Hilweh is a camp in South Lebanon since 1948! The Ayyoub family is from Aïn el Hilweh, Nabih Ayyoub, 67 years, and Khalil Ayyoub, 69 years, and Therese Boulos Haddad, 62 years old! They are in a Church of Notre-Dame and they are refugees hiding there. Some Palestinians have already been deported, they are therefore stateless and deported, they have no place to be deported to! Ashraf is from Jenine and he has to check in to immigration every wednesday because he cannot even get a visa to get there in the West Bank through Jordan. These families have no homes and they are ready to fight. Why did the families leave their home and why were they denied residence in Palestine and in Canada? In Palestine from the beginnig, as they were taking the power the war started to separate the Arabs from the Jews. The problem grew big and the bigger it got the darker the reason. The Arabs were isolated, under the control of foreign powers, and now their hospitals have been destroyed and a wall is constructed. A little wall between the occupied territories and the autonomous territories. The autonomous territories in Gaza are closer to Jordan, they are so small they are actualy called a strip, and then the autonomous territories in the West Bank are closer to Lebanon and Syria. The Gaza strip and the West Bank, otherwise called Jerico are the territories where the Palestinians are living. The Palestinians don’t all have their homes sides to sides anymore. Come ask for homing and residence! Protest Sunday July 10th at 16:30 and until 17:30! |
