Let’s turn Canada into a wind superpower and fly passed Kyoto. Build wind turbine factories, use our ports and ship them around the world. Let’s put Canadians to work in these growth industries. The demand for wind turbines is increasing 40% annually. Warren Buffet is now building a 310 MW wind farm in Iowa. Wind is fast becoming cheaper than fossil fuels.

Let’s renegotiate NAFTA from American free trade to global fair trade. Let’s wage peace and prevent war. If a cost benefit analysis was done which do you think would be cheaper with a far more positive outcome? Peace would win hands down.

Let’s let people love whomever they choose to love. Let’s build healthy people not more private health care. The best way to solve a problem is to prevent the problem. Imagine factories in neighbourhoods because they clean the air, water and soil, provide habitat for birds, and make organic food. Fact: at least two textile mills now have cleaner water leaving than entering (Rohner Textile in Switzerland, Victor Innovatex in Quebec).

Let’s celebrate cultural diversity and honour First Nations; diversity is such strength and what is good for the First Nations is good for Canada.

Let’s build the strong green economy of prosperity where workers, environmentalists and businesspeople work together for mutual benefit.
