Call to action! RECLAIM THE FRINGE!
OTL welcomes artists and activists to help put the finishing touches on CAR STORIES, a revolutionary theatre project! MEETING THURSDAY NIGHT - everyone is welcome!
The Optative Theatrical Laboratories has been busy putting together Montreal's premiere act of theatrical resistance: CAR STORIES! Kicked out of the so-called "Fringe" festival two years ago by CanWEST Global, this is an activist project that refuses to yield. Details can be found here:

CAR STORIES is an open project: anyone interested in theatrical activism is welcome to join in. You make the character! There will be opportunities to explore various types of theatre and activism, from agit-prop street performance to realism, from Situationist tactics to psychgeographic guided walks.
Please join in by contacting George Mougias at labt...@excite.com (921-2850) or by showing up at the Thursday meeting at 7pm - at the BIFTECK (3702 St. Laurent). All interested parties are welcome!
The performances run from June 12 - 22nd, and you can participate for as little or as much of the time as you like.
