CONTINUES PATTERN OF IMPROPER SECRECY BY BUSH WHITE HOUSE (Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, demanded today that Henry Kissinger publicly disclose a list of his law firm’s clients. According to published reports, the Congressional Research Service has interpreted the law to mandate that all members of the new 9/11 investigative commission release the names of any clients who have paid them $5,000 over the last two years. The Bush White House, continuing its often lawless penchant for secrecy, has said that Kissinger will not release the names of his clients. By releasing the names of clients, Kissinger can ease questions from the American public about any conflicts of interest he may have in investigating 9/11 as a result of his client relationships. Judicial Watch represents a victim of 9/11 whose wife was killed at the World Trade Center on that awful day.
