Author of the highly acclaimed book “Cuba: A Revolution in Motion” & professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax.

The 2nd International Che Guevara Conference is on the move! With speakers coming from across Canada, the United States and Cuba, we have a program to inform and inspire solidarity with the great 50 years of dynamism of the Cuban Revolution.

The topics will cover a range of issues concerning revolutionary politics in Cuba, as well as building revolutionary movements around the world, such as: Cuba a revolution in motion; the early years of the Cuban Revolution; the Cuban Revolution and the question of leadership; the Cuban Revolution and its challenges after the collapse of the Soviet Union; the Cuban Revolution and the US blockade; human rights, women's liberation and homosexual rights in Cuba; Cuba and democracy; Cuba and the concept of internationalism; and Cuba and Latin America.

Entrance to the conference is free! The conference program will also include documentary film showings, multimedia presentations and slide shows related to the topics. Low cost food and beverages will be served throughout the conference.
