Québec Social Forum: Call for an anti-imperialist and revolutionary contingent

Anonyme, Wednesday, August 8, 2007 - 17:09

Anti-imperialist and revolutionary contingent

To make another world possible...
REVOLUTION, THE ONLY SOLUTION!

Signatories of this communique are calling all progressive-minded groups and individual to take part in the anti-imperialist and revolutionary contingent within the ending march of the coming Québec Social Forum.

"Social Forums have interpreted and criticized the world in various ways; the point is to change it."

The first Québec Social Forum (QSF) will take place in Montréal from August 23 to 26.

During the closing march of the QSF we are calling for an anti-imperialist and revolutionary contingent.

These Forums are largely run by organisations (some of which are literally bought off by the State) that are looking to patch up the capitalist system; not challenge it. Those of us fighting for radical change have been excluded or ignored.

It is high time to put the necessity for revolution back on the agenda and to demonstrate it clearly during the QSF.

Join the anti-imperialist contingent, on August 26 at 1:30 pm (Place Emilie-Gamelin, Berri-UQAM metro station)! Look for this banner: "Pour qu'un autre monde soit possible... RÉVOLUTION, SEULE SOLUTION!"

Participating groups:
Centre for Philippine Concerns`(CAP/CPC)
Club vidéo révolutionnaire (Saint-Jérôme)
Haîti Action Montréal
Kabataang-Montréal (Filipino Revoloutionary Youth)
Montreal Iranian Socialist Unity
Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP)
PINAY (Filipino Women Organization)
SIKLAB (Organization of Filipino Workers)
Société Bolivarienne du Québec (SBQ)
